Management and Values
Foot Anstey has a streamlined cross office, corporate management structure. An elected Management Board, chaired by Simon Gregory, oversees the strategic direction of the firm and includes managing partner Jane Lister who is responsible for the day to day management of the firm and for the implementation of the firm’s business plan.
Jane is supported by legal group heads John Westwell and Vanessa Priddis, plus a number of professional directors and managers who are responsible for the overall operation of the support departments and for ensuring that the legal teams have the services and back up they require to meet the needs of their clients. In addition to Finance & IT; Facilities; People, Learning & Development; Marketing & Business Development; the firm has recently established a Business Excellence team as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality of service.
All lawyers and support staff are part of either the Business and Public Sector Group, led by John Westwell or the Individual Group, led by Vanessa Priddis. Within these, lawyers and support staff are managed by a partner or an associate in small units according to legal discipline and within the office in which they are based.
Robust supervision systems are in place, backed up by IT, to ensure deadlines are met and the highest standards achieved and substantial investment is being made in recruitment, training and development so as to ensure that Foot Anstey has the highest calibre of staff to support our clients.
