Work Experience at Foot Anstey
GCSE/Year 10
Students can apply for work experience at any time of the year by forwarding a letter to Kelly Cooke (contact details below). This type of placement is available all year round within the Plymouth and Exeter offices, and during July and August at Taunton and Truro.
You would be working as part of our administration team, and the office manager would put together a timetable which would enable you to spend some time with other teams within the office. If you apply for a placement within our Plymouth or Taunton office then we would also try to ensure that you spend some time with our advocates team which usually results in a visit to the local Court.
A Level
Sixth form students can apply for work experience at any time of the year by forwarding a covering letter and CV to Kelly Cooke (contact details below). This type of placement is available all year round.
The work experience programme for sixth form students enables them to attend our offices for a period of four sessions of three hours each. This programme normally takes place over a period of four weeks on a specified day. Each session takes place within a different department, to provide a brief introduction to a variety of practice areas.
Graduates
Undergraduates and Postgraduates can apply for a vacation placement via our online application form.
The vacation programme consists of two consecutive days of unpaid work shadowing during the summer months. We have up to 35 places available across all of our offices. Successful applicants will sit in different teams on each day of their visit. The deadline for the summer placement scheme is 31 March each year.
