Who should attend?
Senior HR professionals and in house lawyers.
What’s covered?
For many employers the idea of a unionised work force is not all appealing. We will share with you practical considerations in opposing a trade union recognition request and what collective bargaining means in practice.
This course covers:
- recognising and planning for a request for recognition
- drafting your response
- tactical considerations
- the role of ACAS
- what is the Central Arbitration Committee
- the CAC Hearing
We use case studies to ensure that all delegates know what to do in resisting a claim for collective bargaining rights.
What will delegates achieve?
By the end of the workshop session your delegates will:
- know how to deal with an application for recognition
- understand and be able to work through the tactical issues
- know how to prepare for a CAC hearing
How long is it and how much?
This workshop session runs for 3 hours and costs only £75 + VAT per delegate.
The workshop is subject to a minimum of 8 delegates per session and a maximum of 15.
