Who should attend?
In house lawyers, HR professionals at all levels, directors, anyone with responsibility for managing or supervising staff, or who might be involved in a forthcoming tribunal.
What’s covered?
Employment Tribunal cases are expensive, they use up management time and can attract adverse publicity; and that’s whether you win or lose. As regular tribunal advocates we know the rules and in this workshop we show you how to play and win the Tribunal game.
This course covers:
- the Tribunal make up and its powers
- the reality of Tribunals and how they make decisions
- how cases are won and lost
- how to prepare to give evidence
- dealing with spurious cases and unreasonable claimants
- taking a commercial view
- how to avoid getting there in the first place
We use practical examples and case studies to ensure participation by all delegates, improve retention of information and to make the session as informal as possible.
What will delegates achieve?
By the end of the workshop session your delegates will:
- understand what a tribunal will involve
- feel more confident about giving evidence
- be able to put your business in the best position to defend tribunal claims
- understand the various factors to take into account when deciding whether to fight a case
How long is it and how much?
This workshop session runs for 3 hours and costs only £75 + VAT per delegate.
The workshop is subject to a minimum of 8 delegates per session and a maximum of 15.
