Directions

By Car:

From the A30 (Okehampton)

1. Leaving the A30, veer left at the Alphington Junction (this is signposted Exeter).
2. Continue forward at the traffic signals (signposted City Centre). Carry along Alphington for approx ¾ of a mile. Continue under the railway bridge, into Alphington Street and follow the signs for the City Centre. Proceed through two sets of traffic lights and onto Exbridges.
3. Having reached the roundabout, stay in the second lane from the right. Continue through the next set of traffic signals, onto the bridge. Keep to the second lane from the left.
4. At the traffic signals, follow the signs for Inner-by-pass B3212 (Western Way). Continue forward, under the bridge keeping to the left hand lane on top of the hill.
5. On the brow of the hill, at the traffic signals proceed over the junction. Immediately after the pedestrian crossing, bear left into Southernhay. The Southgate Hotel is on the left
6. Once in Southernhay, follow the one way system. After approx 100m turn right, then right again. Almost immediately turn left into Southernhay Gardens. Proceed past the new Law Courts, follow the road around to the left and down the hill, Senate Court is on your left. There are two client parking spaces allocated at the front of the building, with additional space to the rear. Due to limited space, parking should be arranged prior to your visit

Travelling from A38 (Plymouth)

1. When reaching the junction of the A30/M5, branch left to join the A30. This signposted Okehampton.
2. At the Alphington junction, branch left (this is the first exit after joining the A30). When at the roundabout, take the third exit A377.
3. Continue from step 2, Travelling from the A30 (Okehampton)

Travelling from M5 (southbound)

1. Leave the motorway at junction 30. At the roundabout, take the third exit A379 which is signposted Dawlish.
2. Continue along the dual carriageway, taking the second exit in order to join the A3015.
3. Move to the outside lane and follow the signs for the City Centre
4. When you have reached the traffic signals (Countess Wear roundabout), keep to the right hand lane and follow the signs to City Centre A3015 (former B3182) and proceed along Topsham Road.
5. After a approx 1 ½ miles, you will pass County Hall on your right and shortly after that you will pass the School for the Deaf on the left. Proceed down the hill into Holloway Street.
6. When approaching the traffic signals at the top of the hill (Holloway Street) keep to the right of the lane. As the lane splits, move into the middle lane. Continue through the traffic signals, bearing right through the next set of signals (now in the left hand lane) and into Magdalen Street. Immediately after the pedestrian crossing, bear left into Southernhay. The Southgate Hotel is on the left.
7. Once in Southernhay, follow the one way system. After approx 100m turn right, then right again. Almost immediately turn left into Southernhay Gardens. Proceed past the new Law Courts, follow the road around to the left and down the hill, Senate Court is on your left.
