Matthew is a specialist in UK employment law, with a particular focus on employment litigation and employment tribunal advocacy.
His experience includes representing and advising employer clients of all shapes and sizes from all over the UK (from small technology companies through to large scale multi-national manufacturers) in relation to all aspects of UK employment law, including complex discrimination issues. He also has experience of advising on the employment law aspects of corporate transactions.
Matthew provides straightforward and decisive advice aimed at identifying solutions to tricky problems, such as how to part company with a poor performing senior executive.
He joined Foot Anstey at the beginning of 2007, having trained with international law firm Reed Smith LLP and qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
Matthew is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, writes articles on all aspects of Employment Law and delivers employment law related seminars and training.
