Recent transactions undertaken by Richard include the merger of an IFAS network with an AIM listed company, a series of acquisitions and disposals for a number of media groups, a number of MBO’s and MBI’s, two complex transfers of engagements for insurers and advising on the transfer of a government research establishment into the private sector.
Richard joined Foot Anstey from Bond Pearce in 1994 and previously worked for British Coal and Clifford Chance. He is a South West Ambassador, a member of the Charity Law Association and Regulatory Lawyers Association and past Chairman of the Devon and Cornwall Branch of the Institute of Directors . Richard is also the author of chapters on Strategic Corporate Transactions and the Alternative Investment Market in "The Business Client Handbook", published by FT Law and Tax.
