Matthew is a solicitor in the Intellectual Property & Information Technology law team in Exeter.
Matthew advises on the specialist areas of copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and associated intellectual property contracts, licences and agreements. Experience also includes drafting a wide range of IT and E-Commerce contracts.
Matthew works with a number of technology and IP based businesses across the UK and regularly advises on Corporate and Commercial Agreements.
Matthew joined Foot Anstey as a trainee in 2005 from Clifford Chance and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. Matthew is currently reading a postgraduate course in Commercial Intellectual Property at Nottingham Law School. He is also a member of the Society for Computers and Law and is on the Open Source Consortium strategic working group.
Matthew is a keen sportsman and plays rugby for Sidmouth RFC.
