David’s specialist areas are commercial landlord and tenant law, investment, acquisitions and disposals, a large proportion of which being within the retail sector. As a result, David is named in Chambers as a "Leader in the Field" for Real Estate.
David trained at West End law firm Brecher & Co, where he qualified in 1992. He subsequently worked for City law firm Nicholson Graham & Jones following their merger with Brecher & Co. David joined Bond Pearce in Plymouth in 1997 where he became an associate in 2001. He joined Foot Anstey as an associate in 2007 and was promoted to partner in May 2008.
Whilst at Bond Pearce, David dealt with the site acquisitions for the new Drake Circus Shopping Centre in Plymouth and also, a large number of the subsequent lettings".
