Having trained, and qualified, in Cheltenham before spending two years working in London, Bruce returned to his Cornish roots and has practised in Truro since. Bruce is a well-known figure in the farming community throughout the West Country and farmed with his wife until 1995. He has particular expertise in agriculture, rural business and property work with a substantial practice of landed estates and development companies. Bruce acts for a number of charities and is closely involved with all aspects arising from their charitable status.
He currently holds Membership of: Country Land and Business Association (CLA) the CLA Legal & Parliamentary and Property Rights Committee, Cornwall Branch CLA Committee, the Agricultural Law Association, Game Conservancy Trust, Countryside Alliance, Life member of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, Life Member of the Stithians Agricultural Association, past President of Truro Christmas Prime Stock and Produce Society and Committee Member.
