Rebecca is a solicitor in the Intellectual Property and Information Technology team, based in Exeter.
Rebecca grew up in Cornwall and later attended Exeter University where she studied law, returning to Cornwall on graduation to complete her training contract at a well known Cornish firm.
Rebecca has developed a particular specialism in intellectual property law and advises on trade marks, design rights, copyright and patents. Rebecca has managed several global portfolios of trade marks and has experience in registering marks abroad (including the United States of America, Japan, Singapore, Austria, China and Russia) both directly and via the Madrid Protocol.
Rebecca drafts commercial agreements which include trade mark licences, trade mark assignments and a variety of e-commerce agreements. Rebecca also has experience preparing software development agreements, software maintenance agreements and terms and conditions for the supply of information technology services.
