Matthew is a partner in the Real Estate team looking after major commercial property clients.
Matthew was born and educated in Plymouth and read law at Exeter University. Matthew qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and before joining Foot Anstey in July 2008, Matthew worked at Field Fisher Waterhouse in London specialising in acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, and development work.
Matthew has a great deal of experience advising both institutional and private investors on investment acquisitions and sales, and the asset management of individual and portfolios of properties. Matthew also advises various developer clients on the acquisition and development of office and mixed use sites, including advising on complex forward funding development agreements.
Matthew has had a number of articles published in various industry-based publications on various legal issues.
