Gillian is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner undertaking all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency.
After reading Philosophy and then gaining an LLM in International Law at University College London, she trained at Bankes Ashton, Suffolk where she qualified in 1979. Since then, Gillian has worked for Bankes Ashton 1978-80, GD Cann & Hallet, Exeter 1981-85 and Foot Anstey from 1985 onwards.
Gillian became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 1990 and has been a Partner at Foot Anstey since 1989. She became a consultant in May 2008. She acts for Insolvency Practitioners both in the region and nationally. In addition, Gillian acts as an external course assessor for the Law Society and is an assistant examiner for the JIEB.
