John joined Foot Anstey in 1993 after training and working with Mills and Reeve in Cambridge. John was made a partner in 1996 and was elected as Foot Anstey’s managing partner from 1st November 2008.
John led the Business and Public Sector Group for three years and has also led the firm’s drive to achieve Lexcel accreditation and the 2007 National Award for “Excellence in Practice Standards”.
Recent successes led by John have also included the firm’s major recruitment drive for top lawyers and the negotiation and securing of the firm’s new offices, including the new flagship Salt Quay House office on Plymouth’s waterfront.
In his spare time John is keen on gardening and beekeeping.
