Maggie specialises in the financial aspects of divorce, especially the more complex and higher value cases, and particularly those involving businesses and pensions.
She also handles complex childcare work, mainly for Children’s Guardians and older children.
Maggie originally qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Canada in 1982. She moved to England in 1989 and has been practising exclusively family law since 1992. She joined Foot Anstey as a partner in 2005, bringing with her the family team she had built up in her previous firm.
Maggie is a trained collaborative lawyer, an accredited specialist with Resolution and a member of the Law Society’s Children panel. She is a member of Foot Anstey’s Families in Business Group and of their Living Together team.
