Vanessa originally worked in the areas of crime and matrimonial law. She is now a partner, heading up one of the largest childcare teams in the south west region.
Vanessa specialises in child abuse cases including factitious illness syndrome and shaken baby syndrome, acting for parents, children and guardians and private law residence and contact disputes acting for all parties, including children.
Vanessa’s expertise includes public law care proceedings, adoption, international adoption and surrogacy. She is a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children and an associate member of NALGALRO.
In addition to her childcare work, Vanessa is head of Foot Anstey’s Individual Group and is responsible for managing the firm’s contract with the LSC.
