Patricia was admitted as a solicitor in 1984 having trained with Hart Brown in Godalming, Surrey. She then worked for six years with Hegarty & Co, Peterborough dealing with all aspects of private client work. In 1990 she returned to Plymouth where she joined Nash Solicitors, becoming a partner in 1991.
Patricia joined Foot Anstey in 2006, specialising in wills, probate and trust work and all aspects of estate tax planning. She has over 20 years of specialist experience in this work. Patricia became a consultant at Foot Anstey in 2010.
Patricia has been a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners since January 1996 and has served as a member of the West of England STEP Committee since 2000, becoming Chairman in 2006.
On 3 July 2008 Patricia was appointed as Chair of the Law Society’s Probate Section. She also serves as a Director for the local branch of Plymouth YMCA.
