Jim specialises in property and construction litigation, based in the Exeter office of Foot Anstey. Jim joined the firm in 2006 from Winckworth Sherwood having qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and was promoted to associate in 2008.
He specialises in construction litigation and building disputes. He also has considerable experience of dealing with other property related disputes including landlord and tenant disputes, party wall matters and property related professional negligence claims. He has previously acted for national house builders as well as registered social landlords and public bodies. Jim has acted in a number of high profile cases recently, including a leading House of Lords case.
Jim studied at Exeter University before moving to London. He is a keen sailor having represented Great Britain at junior and youth level.
