Jim specialises in construction litigation and building disputes. Jim joined the firm in 2006 from Winckworth Sherwood having qualified as a solicitor in 1999. He was promoted to associate in 2008.
He is experienced in all aspects of dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation and litigation. His work includes advising on contractual disputes, claims for loss and delay, party wall matters and negligence claims. He also has considerable experience of dealing with other property related disputes. He has previously acted for national house builders as well as registered social landlords and public bodies. Jim has recently been involved in a number of high profile cases in the Technology and Construction Court as well as a leading House of Lords case and is recommended by the Legal 500 as an expert in construction law.
Jim studied at Exeter University before moving to London. He is a keen sailor having represented Great Britain at junior and youth level.
