Jane has been managing partner for the past 10 years, during which time the firm has grown by almost 400% as a result of strategic mergers and organic growth.
Jane has overseen a strategy which has seen the firm’s geographical expansion rooted in and focused in the south west, providing cost effective, quality services to businesses, charities, public sector organisations and individuals. At the same time Foot Anstey has developed specialist services such as media and employment law which it provides to businesses across the UK.
Since 2000, Jane has overseen successful mergers in Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton and Truro while also developing a strong corporate management structure, most recently adding a specialist Business Excellence team to further strengthen the firm’s commitment to delivering quality.
Jane’s contribution has been recognised by The Lawyer magazine which has selected her for its Hot 100 list for 2008.
Jane has also fulfilled a number of influential roles in the south west community; most recently having been a Director of the Theatre Royal Plymouth, Governor of the University of Plymouth and Vice Chairman of Plymouth Hospitals Trust. Jane is very proud to have been the first woman president of Plymouth Law Society in 1993/4.
