Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1990, Nigel is a Partner in the Firm and leader of the Foot Anstey Advocacy team.
Nigel specialises in all types of contentious criminal advocacy including Coroner Inquests, Courts Martial, Trading Standards and Health and Safety work.
Nigel is a Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) Advocate, able to appear at any level in our Criminal Courts System. He is also an integral part of the Leisure Team specialising in liquor and public entertainment licensing work throughout Devon and Cornwall. He is also a Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor for Plymouth and was President of the Plymouth Law Society in 2006.
Nigel was educated at Plymouth College and returned to his home town to practise in the law, where he maintains close local ties, as Governor of a local Primary school and a former Honorary Solicitor to Plymouth Citizens Advice Bureau.
