Rachel’s specialises in all aspects of Childcare Law including Care and Adoption proceedings; Residence/Contact disputes and Domestic Violence issues. She has a wealth of experience acting on behalf of children, parents, extended family members, Local Authorities and Children’s Guardians.
Rachel joined the firm’s Childcare and Family Team in March 2002. Prior to this Rachel gained public sector experience as a Local Authority Solicitor for Devon County Council acting for the Social Services Child and Families Directorate. Rachel trained and qualified at Messrs Ashfords between 1995 and 1999.
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in September 1997 and was promoted to associate in 2008. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel, Association of Lawyers for Children and Resolution.
