Karen specialises in all areas of Employment Law. She regularly advises clients on a wide range of matters including day to day employment queries, discrimination and diversity, disciplinary and grievance procedures. Karen also handles Employment Tribunal litigation and advises employers and employees on Compromise Agreements. On the non-contentious side Karen advises on drafting and reviewing employment documentation including contracts, consultancy and service agreements and staff handbooks and policies.
Karen works with a wide variety of clients including educational establishments, a local authority, charities, and locally and nationally based businesses.
Karen joined the Foot Anstey Employment Team in September 2005 on qualification as a solicitor. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Exeter University, having previously gained an undergraduate degree at the University of London.
