Taunton Aerospace has acquired the Taunton based aerospace components business of Thales Optronics (Taunton) Ltd.

The new business will continue to manufacture aerospace products, including pitot tubes, attitude monitors and various couplings at its current location at Lisieux Way, Taunton. Pitot tubes are used to measure airspeed through the measurement of air pressure.
