New Head Of Planning Team
Gareth Pinwell is the new partner and Head of the Planning and Public Sector team at South West law firm Foot Anstey. Previously he was Chief Executive of Restormel Borough Council.
Gareth qualified as a Solicitor in 1992. He has over 20 years experience in providing Planning and Public Law advice to Local Authorities. Until 2001 he was engaged in a variety of roles at Plymouth City Council, specialising as the Authority’s senior legal advisor on planning and regeneration in the city.
In 2002 he joined Restormel Borough Council as Assistant Chief Executive, and operated as the Council’s Principal Legal Advisor, and its Monitoring Officer before becoming Chief Executive.
