New Service To Help Businesses In The Recession

Crunch Solutions, a new service to help companies survive and prosper in the current economic recession, was launched by South West law firm Foot Anstey this week.

It is designed to minimise the risk of businesses getting into trouble by reviewing the key legal elements affecting their operating practices.

When the economy takes a downturn, businesses often face problems with cash flow, often arising because of difficulties with their customers, suppliers, and other organisations.

Crunch Solutions begins with a two hour free consultation with a senior commercial solicitor from Foot Anstey. The solicitor works through a number of key legal topics with a business at their premises. This process identifies areas of good practice and areas which may need improving. Following the meeting, the solicitor produces a report which summarising the legal strengths and weaknesses of the business.

Alastair Hargreaves of Foot Anstey explains “If our report gives your business a clean bill of health or you decide not to deal with any problems highlighted, it doesn’t cost you a penny.

“Our consultation will look at nine key business areas including credit control, and our solutions are based on competitive fixed fees on a no obligation basis.

“We have launched Crunch Solutions in response to our existing clients’ needs but we are opening up the service to all local businesses. It’s a new, speedy and cost effective way of making sure that a business is on a robust legal footing and capable of surviving the rigours of economic uncertainty.

“Our report should increase your confidence in your business decisions so that you can protect your position and maximise opportunities.”
