Deals Review Highlights Successes
The number of deals advised by solicitors Foot Anstey in the past 12 months has increased by almost 60 per cent according to the latest annual deals review published by regional accountants Francis Clark in conjunction with the Western Morning News.
The 2008 Deals Review shows that Foot Anstey undertook more deals than any other law firm with offices in Devon and Cornwall.
The survey also concludes that: “Foot Anstey undertook the highest volume of sales and MBO/MBI deals over the past three years with a focus on locally based deals”.
Head of company commercial at Foot Anstey Duncan Sykes said: “This survey demonstrates the increasing strength of our team and reflects that more and more businesses from across the region are attracted to the firm by the combination of quality lawyers and excellent value for money.”
The Deals Review also shows that over the past three years Foot Anstey has consistently expanded the number of deals it has handled year on year with the survey revealing Foot Anstey as the second highest legal adviser for the past year as well as for the past three years.
The survey shows partners James Evans and Richard Coombs are fourth and fifth respectively in the individual adviser table for all deals while Richard is the top lawyer for MBO/MBIs and James is equal top for joint ventures/mergers.
Other Foot Anstey lawyers singled out are Keith Biggs, Helen Wallwork and Antonia Power.
