Foot Anstey Strengthens Their Planning Consultancy
Planning Consultant Neal Jillings has joined the expanding Planning Consultancy team at South West law firm, Foot Anstey after working in local and central government and the private sector.
Jillings’ extensive experience includes working at North Somerset Council on development control and policy work for North Somerset Council. He joined the Planning Inspectorate in 2000 to work primarily on Structure Plan Examinations and Local Plan Inquiries especially in the South West including Mid Devon, East Devon, Taunton Deane, Torridge, West Dorset and Weymouth and Portland.
His experience also includes sitting on two Office of the Deputy Prime Minister’s steering groups guiding research teams on the use of mediation in the planning system and the issues of public participation in planning decisions He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the South West branch of the Institute.
