Progressive Foot Anstey Lead On Reverse Takeover
Leading South West law firm Foot Anstey advised on the reverse takeover of AIM listed TMN Group by Progressive Digital Media Group.
Progressive, which runs business conferences, magazines and websites will combine with TMN’s operations, which include Affiliate Future, online researchers ID Factor and ICD Research, and email marketing planner and buyer EDR.
This latest transaction, led by Corporate Partner Chris Worrell, is the second in less than nine months for Foot Anstey involving publicly listed companies.
Mike Danson of the Progressive Digital Media Group said "Chris has worked alongside Progressive since it was founded in 2007 and we are pleased to continue our relationship with him at Foot Anstey. Chris and his team provided the level of advice and service one would expect from a City law firm, working effectively with the both the Board of Progressive and our team of advisers from their base in the South West, whilst at the same time being able to offer a highly competitive fee structure. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”
Chris Worrell of Foot Anstey commented: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work alongside the Progressive team and to demonstrate our expertise in both the media sector and acting for publicly listed companies. This deal demonstrates that it is possible to get the support and advice needed to complete significant and complex deals at a competitive price without compromising on quality.”
Foot Anstey’s nationally recognised media team acts for three of the four largest regional newspaper publishers in the UK – Northcliffe Media Ltd, Johnston Press PLC and Trinity Mirror PLC as well as high profile names such as Which? Magazine and Twofour.
