Foot Anstey Lawyers Named as Leaders
South West law firm Foot Anstey has had its reputation as one of the region’s leading firms confirmed by the Chambers Guide 2010, widely regarded as the most authoritative guide to the legal profession in the UK.
After detailed research by Chambers over a six month period including thousands of telephone and face-to-face meetings with clients and other law firms, Chambers has recommended 27 Foot Anstey lawyers as “Leaders in their Fields” in the region, 6 more than last year.
New “leaders” this year are Chris Hoar for Construction; Gareth Pinwell for Planning; Duncan Sykes for Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions; David Turner for Dispute Resolution; Patricia Wass for Private Client; and Malcolm Emery for Tax.
Lawyers from each of Foot Anstey’s offices in Truro, Plymouth, Exeter and Taunton were singled out for recognition across a wide range of legal disciplines including Banking Litigation, Charities, Clinical Negligence, Construction, Defamation/Reputation Management, Defendant Personal Injury, Employment, Family/Matrimonial, Intellectual Property, Information Technology, Licensing, Planning and Real Estate.
“Given that Chambers’ findings are based on key performance indicators such as client service and track record within sectors I am delighted that a record number of Foot Anstey lawyers have gained “Leader” status. This announcement acknowledges our commitment to recruiting and training high quality lawyers and recognises our strength in depth across so many areas of the law from each of our regional offices,” commented John Westwell, Managing Partner at Foot Anstey.
The Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession 2010 will be published in October this year.
