Foot Anstey Executive to Shape Standards
An executive at leading South West law firm Foot Anstey has been appointed to a prestigious national panel of the Law Society’s practice management standard, Lexcel. 
James Treloar, Business Excellence Manager at the firm, has been appointed to the panel which consists of a cross-section of representatives from the current Lexcel accredited practice groups from across the UK, The Panel has the authority to develop and review the future strategy for Lexcel and influence the quality of legal services delivery of accredited firms.
The Lexcel standard is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
James’ appointment follows a lengthy application and interview process which has resulted in him being selected to represent ‘large law firms’ with 26 partners or more, in addition to performing an ambassadorial role for Lexcel and attending quarterly meetings at The Law Society in London.

His appointment will involve assisting the Lexcel team on award decisions, being the first port of call in appeal processes and aiding the Lexcel team in maintaining and improving the Lexcel standard."
Foot Anstey’s continuing commitment to client service resulted in it becoming the first law firm in the UK to achieve the Law Society’s national award for “Excellence in Practice Standards.”
