Law Firm Challenges the Minds of Local Businesses
A fun-filled quiz night hosted by south west law firm Foot Anstey on 4 March raised £3000 for local charity Headway Somerset.
27 teams from local businesses took part in the quiz which was held at the Somerset College of Art and Design. Teams battled it out for the quiz trophy, followed by a hugely successful raffle and charity auction ran by Charles Clark of Greenslayde Taylor Hunt.
Claire Stoneman, associate at Foot Anstey said: “Foot Anstey is committed to helping people in our community and Headway Somerset is a very worthy cause. Our aim was to raise a substantial amount of money for the Charity, and we would like to say a thank you for the generosity and support from our guests”.
Headway Somerset was established to help with the problems suffered by brain injured people and offers support through Headway Houses in Bridgwater, Yeovil & Mendip. Each Headway House provides a relaxed, safe, pressure free environment to enjoy therapeutic activities and social contact.
Headway Somerset’s Chairman, Martin Pettingell said: “We are utterly delighted with the outcome of what was an extremely entertaining and well run event”.
