Foot Anstey Appoints Two New Partners
Property specialists Alastair Hargreaves and Andrew Dunningham have been appointed partners at South West law firm Foot Anstey.
Alastair Hargreaves heads up Move Forward, the high quality, fixed price, no sale no fee residential house conveyancing service launched last year. Move Forward uses the latest technology to allow clients to track their house move on a dedicated confidential website and be contacted by email, text, phone or post. Since launch, Alastair has developed the service so successfully the Move Forward team has quadrupled in size.
Alastair’s promotion to the partnership reflects the firm’s approach to encouraging personal development. Having joined the firm initially as a para legal from University Alastair then joined Foot Anstey’s solicitor training programme, qualified in 2001 and became an associate in 2004, working in all three of Foot Anstey’s offices in Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton.
Andrew Dunningham joined Foot Anstey in February 2006 as an associate, after working in London and in the region. He leads the firm’s New Homes Team, acting for buyers of new properties from house builders. By focusing on new sites, Andrew’s team builds up the knowledge required to streamline the process, enabling speedy purchases to be made and his team now numbers almost 20 staff.
Jane Lister, Managing Partner said “Both Alastair and Andrew have worked hard at developing teams who understand our clients needs and the importance of delivering fast, effective and reliable service. They have both developed successful teams, winning new business and they have much to offer as partners.
“The expansion of these two services has made a major contribution to our growth in Taunton which in turn led to the opening of a second Foot Anstey office in Taunton earlier this year at The Quad, Blackbrook Business Park”.
