Foot Anstey Launches New Employment Law Training Service

South West law firm Foot Anstey has launched a new tailor made service aimed at saving money and time for local businesses. The employment law training service will be provided in-house at a business’s premises, keeping organisations up to date with the ever-changing employment laws without managers needing to go away on time consuming training courses.

Foot Anstey’s large employment team spoke to businesses, charities and other organisations on how they wished to be kept up to date with the law.

Holly Cudbill, employment law specialist at Foot Anstey explains “Speaking to large and small employers, it’s clear that most organisations are aware of the importance of employment law training, both to improve industrial relations and to avoid tribunal claims.”

“Balanced against this awareness is the reluctance to spend too much time and money training staff. The idea of bringing the training into the workplace to save on travel and time out of the office solves these problems and also means that all the managers are trained at the same time.

“Top priority for businesses at the moment is the prevention of discrimination, including learning about age discrimination and complying with the statutory dismissal and grievance procedures..

“Our 26 bespoke courses cover the main areas of employment law for everyone from inexperienced managers to senior HR personnel. Each course is adapted for every organisation so that the training is relevant, convenient and cost-effective.”
