LAWYER REQUIRED IN OUR COMPANY COMMERCIAL TEAM, EXETER BASED
JOB SPECIFICATION
Essential Criteria
1. Solicitor
2. Experience in a major law firm with a significant company commercial department
3. Good academics
4. An individual who is client friendly and proactive
6. Good drafting skills
7. A good working knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements and experience in general corporate and commercial matters
8. A willingness to get involved in business development activities
Optional Criteria
1. Working knowledge and experience of:-
• MBO’s/MBI’s
• Raising finance for private companies
• Financial services regulation
The successful applicant will join the Business & Public Sector Group comprising 93 fee earners. Within that group there are 4 units covering Business Services, Employment, Insolvency and Property. The successful applicant will primarily work with partners and associates in the company commercial/e commerce unit and will be encouraged to develop his or her own specialist area within that unit.
